I played a much earlier version of the game back in 2024, when (according to the developers) only half of the planned game had been implemented.
Overall, I am seeing a LOT of quality of life improvements, starting with the player walking speed and cutting down the number of newspapers in the wider world which were a distraction previously.
Other than that, the game is extremely well written (even if some jokes and cultural details don't translate that well and a lot of the narrative choices used convey Iris' personality perfectly (the unspoken dialogue box rant when talking to Kate is still a personal favorite.
I seem to have msised some options that I'm seeing other players having gone through during my playthroughs (the Jimmy endings, etc) and the current version's ending was a little abrupt, but I can't recommend it enough.
