Have you tried disabling your firewall/anit-virus software? Most itch.io games get blocked i think by the firewall :o If that didn't work i can send you the files through WeTransfer maybe if you really want to?

It's definitely not a virus! Windows just warns you because it doesn't trust randomly downloaded .exe's, wich is pretty understandable hahahaha
