So I got it. If anyone else gets stuck, what the other commentor said is true. It's seemingly random or maybe after a certain amount of tries (if so, it's a ridiculous amount). But I had put the dialogue on skip, interacted with the creature a few times and the pile like a million times getting kicked out repeatedly, then I went back in, interacted with the creature once, got kicked out like normal, then went back in and tried the pile and it worked for seemingly no reason. So maybe try that. Devs please fix this, I honestly should be paid for the amount of time I wasted clicking on that stupid pile and creature over and over again. One way to ruin what was actually a very cool moment in the story, really loved the creepy room designs and music and the big tiddy shadow goddess monster thing. This game has a lot of potential, but there are some truly painful issues that need to be addressed
