Hello. This is a problem in the Android version, as approximately 25% of the bottom screen is covered by a not very transparent white background with text. There is no function to hide the text. There are only 4 functions: 1. back, 2. skip, 3. auto, 4. menu. In such cases, a swipe from top to bottom is often used, but it also does not work.

Unfortunately, I only offer limited support for the Android version, since most of my testing and development is done on PC. That said, I’m planning to switch to Ren’Py 8 soon, and that might resolve the issue you’re experiencing—especially since newer builds often improve Android support.
