Thank you. Not sure why your gun stopped working (unless your pet got too hungry), but I needed to lock off those stairs. Thanks for letting me know.
I just did a small patch to block off the stairs and allow you to quit the game from the pause menu. The settings menu in the gun menu is not reachable anymore since no buttons there did anything anyways.
