For Chapter 1, it is completely the opposite. Chapter 1 will now follow a story that was written before-hand, it has a theme and it goes somewhere. Depends on the users if they like it or not.
Despite its new ambitions, Chapter 1 will still have funny events and funny moments, the snowy event is an example of it.
