Not to crash out, but this is the first time ever since I started doing jams where the theme feels ...wrong. 

Themes are supposed to be blurry, give way to different train of thoughts, different approaches, but this? Frontier? With the image portraying the old west and an american flag?

This narrows it down so much already, even if you ignore the chosen image and just go for frontiers in general, it's already so... specific?

"Build to Scale", "Losing is Progress", "Duality", "Everything must go right", idk, those were old themes from various jams that felt like you could do anything and still fit the theme, but Frontiers?

I'll still do my best to think of something out of the box, but I have to openly admit, this is a first for me, first time I look at the theme and instead of going "Oh!" I just go "Oh....".

there is spaceships in the background, dude. You can use Frontier in many ways if you want to.

maybe even mental frontiers. 

I confirmed with Duke in the discord earlier; it doesn’t have to be Old West or space and he specified that “any frontier” would apply. For some inspiration, you could also use the ocean or arguably even technological advancement.
