On windows/mac/linux, you can just delete the old version, and play the new one because the saves are not stored in the game dir, but on your system :)
If you're on a phone you might have to do an upload sync on the load/save screens in the old version first, then a download sync on the load/save screen in the new version, to be able to transfer saves. Don't always have to do it though. Sometimes it detects them normally.
unfortunately slower devices have issues processing all the moving images.
Try loading up a save from before the ferrish wheel, turn off animated backgrounds in the options, and try again. Otherwise wait fir ep6 when I will be making the project 1080p base instead of 1440p and so it should run smoother on all devices then.
Didn't need to surprisingly. I think it was just that save file. I loaded a different one and it worked just fine. Don't know why my main stopped working, but I'm glad I made multiple now. Thanks anyway though, I'll definitely keep this in mind if it happens again in the future and loading another save doesn't work.
