The idea is solid, but the whole success of your game strictly depends on how much one likes chess :)

It would be nice to have a singleplayer mode, but from the comment, I see you are working on it.

There is one thing I'm wondering about. I think it's absolutely possible to force a draw with that kind of rules, just by disabling a number of tiles.

And one more thing- I think at some point the game wouldn't let me make a legal move, but this is something I might have imagined, because I didn't take a screenshot to prove it.

I don't think it's possible to force draw unless the 2 players agree on this because it's not that easy to do it alone each tile needs to be stepped on 3 times to get destroyed and there are like 64 tiles

And about the legal move you may have been in check and you didn't notice...maybe..? Please if you played the game again at some point and stumbled upon this glitch again send me a screenshot because personally I never encountered any bugs
