Hi! Sorry for the late reply. TTRPGs are totally acceptable!

Hello! Can we submit board games as well? As in - tabletop games of any kind, card games, etc. What are the requirements? Do we film a how to play video, or a playthrough video, or a walkthrough video or a promo video, or print and play files?

I wanted to follow up if anyone knew the answer!

Hi Courtney. Apologies for taking a while to respond.

Yes, board games are totally acceptable. We have clarified our stance in a new rule (see: "Can I submit something which isn't a video game?").

Sorry again, I didn't get a notification for this one. I hope that the delay in responding hasn't been a problem for you.

Thank you so much! That is super helpful. Just read the update. For engines, does that mean I should use a web-based way to play the board game, or is a digital download / printable acceptable?

Either is totally acceptable! Your game does not need to be playable on a computer - you can provide printouts and downloads instead.

Fantastic! Thank you so much! I appreciate the quick reply, and look forward to getting my game done. I appreciate all of your help and replies. It's jams like these where we become better game designers. :)
