You didn't hear any sound because I didn't add it. About the confusing controls: I did it because I wanted to avoid activating two dialogues at the same time. If you were confused by the ladder controls, sorry, I just used it in one of my previous games and didn't see any problems using it.
I'll add the info about Space, thanks. Maybe some sounds too, I just don't have experience with them.
