There's one outside the battle scene but its kind of far from the point of issue. so....

i some how got out the block one but had to parry attacks now and after i got 3/3 of it the game still kept going on and one time parrying left registered as up parry
The system is bugging for me.
Hi again. Yeah, I just forgot to change a variable there. In fact, the game actually counts parries, but it displays successful blocks on the screen.
so does it work now? Both block and parry
It works — the game just shows the number of blocks on screen, not parries. Just parry three times and that’s it.
