Hey man, version 7 seems to be the safest, I played it without any problems! But the older versions are not reliable, because they mess with your PC's resolution, once, I downloaded version 5, and after I closed it, I could never open my file explorer again (and yes, I had to fix it) So I don't recommend the older versions! Also, you can't close the game after the "i am god" screen with esc normally. But I recommend you use a virtual machine (as you said in the comment above)
