The game really is fun and challenging, a little unbalanced or unfair in some parts, but i really like what is going with this, i would only suggest some things that i think could help the game or at least try it.

1:  capability of devouring the enemies, or at least some types, gaining more energy but with a cooling time and maybe a minigame to make it, like pressing a key repeatedly to break the enemy defence and devour it.

2: being able to devour the slime creatures to gain endurance, but loss movility, having to empy ourselves in contaiment cells.

And someting i think could be helpfull, is that we dont lose our weapons between levels, mostly because of the amount of enemies we start to face, and the lack of guns to actually face them, or at least, dont loose our ammo.

and i would really suggest that the levels don't obligate to loose the acumulated energy in big amounts, or at least, that the energy could be gained more easely, like getting a bigger amount from enemies and other sources.

I am the biggest hater of vore, obviously i object. 

Also (on a less subjective point) they clearly state an intent in the game to leave you without weapons at mission start 'to cause as much financial losses to them by using their own equipment' or something of that effect is what our lobster buddy says

Plus also, i actually find the idea of having gates that weaken you but are necessary where you lose energy rather enticing from a gameplay position

About the vore, sorry for suggesting it. About the point of the weapons, i understand that argument, but still is a really bad choice, yes, of course we can become an unstoppable force of nature, but like i said, the lack of weapons that you can find on further levels becomes pretty annoying considering that you barely find ammo for strong weapons, and even you don't get too much ammo for the weakest, and the fact that you face pretty hard damage sponges on the second level, that you barely do damage if is not with strong weapons like the gattling, the gl, and the rocket launcher, and those enemies can make a lot of damage to you, sometimes without a proper place to get cover, making you basically an easy target. And about the doors, yes, is a good mechanic, but again, the fact that you barely get energy from enemies if they are not the strongest ones, or if you destroy generators, and the doors needing an exagerated amount of energy sometimes makes it a little annoying, at least from my perspective.
