Hi, sorry for the very late reply. Did you try to re-download the game? Was there anything you noticed when the game wasn't working like any kind of error message through the game or windows? I'm not able to find much on my end of what could have caused it so far.
I really wish i could do more to help. My only guess is the save system doesn't work like it made a corrupted save on start up. That or it can't access the .pck that came with the zip. I'm so sorry I am not able to do much to help ;__;
