it was just as you said, your email came to me by complete surprise! nevertheless, i want you to know that i was very much looking forward to it, and will definitely play the demo to EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!! "a short hike" is to this day my favourite game, i used to go back to it just to fly around in it, because that alone was pure joy to do!! I was very emotional as well playing a short hike, I recommended it to all my friends and they all loved it to bits as well!
i will come back once i get the chance to play this demo!
I dont want you to feel pressured about continueing development for this game because of this comment, even tho i would be THRILLED of course.
In the end, we all have our battles to fight! and you coming to this decision could not have been easy for you! I just hope you know that you are amazing and can do amazing things, and if you just need to start anew, please take all your time to do it! we would be absolutely lucky to get more games from you, but you yourself will always come first, that much is for sure!
