There's always the tried-and-true route that a lot of Japanese games go where they make their male MCs where they're a semi-transparent gray/black with a vague, generic haircut. You could do the same for this MC. I don't even know if you necessarily need to go through the effort of modeling specific, detailed facial features like eyes or lips unless absolutely necessary for a scene.
