You should be able to check stats by tapping on "Journal" in the upper right. Ken represents your understanding of Barrowport and its surroundings; it increases every day, and initially you can increase it faster by wandering outside town or in the mansion. Later on, you'll unlock even quicker ways of gaining Ken.
