Hey, I'm currently interested in making a custom map for Quake, would this be allowed? I'd be adding custom toki pona themed textures and text prompts in tp, but things like the main menu wouldn't be in tp (since I don't know Quake modding). I believe it's possible to get a shareware version and play custom maps on it, so I dont think purchase of the base game is needed.

we discussed with the other organisers, unfortunately we’ll have to say no, as we want the jam to focus on making original toki pona games

however, if you do end up making it anyway, im sure the community would like to see it sent in the various discords etc, just not here unfortunately

As long as you put a clear content warning as described in the rules that should be fine.
