I like it, I've been looking for a decent trench building/warfare game for a while, and this nailed everything I was looking for, even with a free demo. Solid 8/10 even with some of my critiques (I get this is pre-alpha and all, but still)
1. There are no game-saving mechanics at all. Your game crashed when you were four hours in? Too bad for you, start from square one
2. Rare but consistent crash when zooming in close and trying to place stuff down. (example, putting lanterns on the ground in trenches) This has happened a solid eight times in three days for me and is my biggest pet peeve with this game so far.
3. I don't like how you can cancel construction on some objects and you can't on others, like I can cancel the construction of this piece of barbed wire, but can't on this one. This happens the worst with trenches, your men will just walk into machine gun fire to try and dig it, and they get absolutely rocked, and you can't even do anything about it.
4. hard to click on some close-together objects, like corpses.
5. There's a time limit on how long you can spend in one game (believe its Day 4 at 10:01) making it hard for someone like me who likes taking things slow and admiring the building and scenery to actually complete the thing
I have put maybe 14 hours or so on it and have been playing since the demo became available June 23rd, overall, would recommend.
