taken from their patreon.  I saved this on a notepad doc after I stopped subscribing around oct of last year.

"The team has had an important meeting, we have decided that the next 2 games will have free versions and will not be paid

this change is due to the fact that in this game: Five nights of passion VR has had many problems with your VR viewers

We want you to know that we have been studying a lot how unreal engine works with vr, but it is really difficult and there is really little support from epic games

but there are no excuses! we are going to release the next 2 games for free in their base version, and the updates that come out of those games will come out on patreon!

thank you for your wait, this 10/10/2024 the biggest update of Five nights of passion VR to date will come out, unfortunately, I regret to inform you, that we have not been able to solve the problems of the viewers that go with lag, forgive the inconvenience and we will see you soon with those 2 free games :)"

So they have now released FNOP2 and instead of it being free like they said they are charging double for it.  I get it, people need to eat.  But man it feels bad that they've never fixed the first game after they broke it with their update and went back on their word.   I leave it up to others if they want to still support or not.  I myself will give FNOP2 a shot but there is no way im subbing to their patreon again.

EDIT: Just looked at the comments on FNOP2 and no one can get it to work lmao.  Bullet dodged.

does this mean u have the dlc 😔

yes and in my opinion it was not worth it.  The one time it worked for me and I managed to play it it was a rail shooter that lasted all of 3 minutes with no way to view the animations in the rail shooter outside of it.

How did you get the dlc to work on Oculus

(+1)

Their biggest mistake was building it for Oculus! 1. that headset is known to be difficult for amatures to build games for, 2. the FAPNAF models are not built for android, and 3. a majority of Oculus' player base is KIDS, so this is already on a platform that it shouldn't be. Should've just stuck to PCVR you fools!
