I'm so sorry! We are working actively on a fix. I'm worried that Unity Web GL may have cursed us here. We're building a workaround with import/export save like Cookie Clicker, but that doesn't help for surprise loss. But we're also hoping to fix the root issue.

Do you happen to know if other itch games have robust auto-save capabilities on web? We haven't stress tested this yet.

I don't believe that many games have long term saves, as most people just play them in one sitting.  An import and export sounds like a good idea. I'm also glad I got to 100 percent the game when it was first released, so I could experience all the levels. My favorite was Neon.

<3 <3 There will be more levels at release! And we're polishing up the later ones so that they look cool. Neon and Sea have some visual bugs right now while we play with vfx, so that's why they weren't in the demo.

That's a relief to hear about long term saves. The engineers were treating it like an emergency, but I was thinking about it and I can't think of a web game that does this stuff with guaranteed safety. But also I think we can do it better than we're doing it -- like a new build or fix shouldn't reset player data.

That's good to hear. I wish you luck.
