Valid critique, thanks! I have what you've mentioned here and much more planned. But as the deadline for this game jam was only 9 days and I (unfortunately) have a chaotic life outside of hobby game dev, this was all I was able to accomplish in my spare time. I got some feedback from Toasty's discord server and one of my professional game dev friends on how to add more gameplay and atmosphere. Next demo will be a lot more inline with my vision.
