Yeah he just sorta disappeared for me too. This was after he left and came back at one point. Not sure what happened.
(edit: nvm I found him by the fishing dock you find one of the cowgirls at previously)
Gin will leave after you complete his training and the event with Cassie. Indivi said they plan to bring back Gin later but I don't know when.
