Oh man, loneliness and the feeling of loss are doing a number on me. Based on your description, maybe it's not safe for me to read this one. On the other hand, I'm a sucker for cute pandas/bears so I'm interested. I don't mind stories with hardships and characters who go through it as long as the resolution doesn't crush my heart.

Without spoilers, do you think it's okay for me to read it when it comes out ?

Hello,

I don't know what kind of tolerance level you have for something like this, so I wouldn't be able to tell you what to do. It could very well be too much if you are not prepared. But on the flip-side, it could also show you something else entirely.

Some scenes might feel too real, mostly because a bunch of them actually happened to me, but that shouldn't be a deterrent really. More like...something that gives the novel grit.

I'd say give it a shot, but be aware that there is a reason for the content warning. Things get very real, very fast starting on page 1.

Best regards,
-H.M.

Well, as long as the ending isn't brutal I think I'll be okay.

Looking forward to it ^^
