This is a really good concept. I'm excited to see where you take it. Have you done visual novels before? Your idea of subtly changing the color pallette as the tone changes is something I really appreciate in a visual novel. I think using your conservation expertise is a great idea. It is good to see another bio post grad who makes games.

Thank you for your feedback! I have done visual novels before and I do freelance writing on the side, so the real challenge here is making sure I can finish the story on time at the quality I'd like.
I am really interested in bringing realistic flavored fantasy to life because it's a digestible way to educate for the average gamer (and simply because it's my preferred topic).
