I've been able to replicate it, so after you exit the bedroom door (approaching the statue) there is a few frames where if you're holding the arrow keys you'll move before the cutscene begins, and that messes up the "set move route" and causes him to get stuck, which soft locks the game. That is entirely not your fault, I didn't find that glitch before the deadline. I'll make a patch after the jam is over, but if you're still interested in continuing, you just need to not press anything after exiting the bedroom while the cutscene plays. I really appreciate you playing, and your game was amazing!
