what the title says i can't find Darude in front of the castle and I've done the main story quest until I have Finding Lucille as the only quest I'm not sure what to do, please help
Darude should only "disappear" after you build the storage in Central for the trade events with Orchel. But it requires to finish the quest with Lucilla in order to get to Orchel, so he shouldn't be gone before you do the quest. He should still be in front of the castle in Aldlyn for the quest wih Lucilla.
Can you please send me the save file per mail, so that I can check what is going wrong for you? Since someone else reported the same issue, I assume there is a bug that was added with the recent change to the trade route system.
Please send the save file with the issue to Naughty-Netherpunch@web.de
You can find the saves in the \www\save folder of the game. I only need one .rpgsave file with the save slot number in which you have the issue. (For example, it would be file1.rpgsave if you have saved in the first save slot.)
Sorry for your troubles.
I did notice when I tested a new game to see if he would give a tutourial on what the icons meant that he wasn't at the castle but in the game where I was before he was there talking about if you ever need a merchant. I'm no RPGmaker wiz but my best guess is that if you interacted with and used his old system at least once before the update you are fine if not then his lack of an introduction flag is whats causing it.
I think I found the issue why Darude is "gone" for some people. I forgot to mention that Darude now requires that you unlocked the vanguard battle system, since the vanguard battles are optional content in his new trades. To unlock this system, you first need to repair the abandoned barracks on the country overview map after saving Mira there. Then you go to the repaired barracks and talk with the vanguard leader Jessy to get a quest to gather the rest of her squad leaders. Once that quest is done, Darude will appear in front of the castle in Aldlyn.
Sorry for the confusion. I should've mentioned this in the update notes.
