I know the wait has been long, and I'm sorry for the delay—especially to those who hoped it would arrive a few weeks ago. The truth is, I became really invested in a major visual overhaul. My goal is to push beyond the typical aesthetic and create captivating visuals, which has involved writing my own shaders from scratch. I'll be posting a sneak peek of the new environments soon.
This project has always been a huge learning experience for me. It's the place where I'm honing my skills, and every lesson learned here—from writing to visual design—is also being channeled into a new, story-driven novel that's in late development.
I want this update to reflect that growth. Anyone who has been with the project from the beginning might have already spotted the improvements in writing and visuals over time.
I'm balancing all of this with other commitments, but my passion extends to supporting the entire VN community. That's why I release free tools such as the Ren'Py Text Analyzer. Furthermore, after releasing the 0.2.2 update, the shaders I've written will be released to the public for free.
