I use hair dye that's actually good for hair and washes away in about 3 washes. Its kind of like shampoo with a bit of colour. I'm lucky enough to have natural highlights in my hair which means I've never needed to bleach it. My mum is fine with me dying my hair. Sometimes she even dyes her hair with me. I'm not trying to be cool. I'm like the most awkward and lame person you will ever meet! I do it because I'm bored and enjoy experimenting.
I've noticed that people who put themselves down get all the good comments while I'm stuck with you. Is it because I decided to show myself the tiniest bit of self love by not making my character extremely ugly?

btw, when I used to dye my hair too I once convinced my mom to put a streak of purple in her hair
i used to dye my hair because I wanted some attention that wasn't from my:
-stutter
-lack of communticating
-the fact that I really just don't look or sound like a dude no matter what
I kind of get that feel that you want to be seen for something else than your awkward traits
