thats kind of the point of choice based lineated story plots, just enjoy the game, through trial and error, and accept what may happen, and eventually youll see it comes together quite easily. Some games require thought, others don't, if this game isnt for you, maybe come back to it when you are ready, or yknow, just keep playing.
