This looks extrEmely helpful. I'm running KoB/never stop making magic for a long campaign and wanting to let my players level up in a way that makes sense. the story beats part is also so so helpful because I've already done a flashback origin story with one character and now I can have like an actual plan of where to go from there.

I also super recommend checking out the Slugblaster system, especially the Quinn's Quest review of it, as the tone of the Beats system is a huge influence on KoB games I've run myself
