hey it's Chris!
Hmm it's really hard for me to give you guys valuable feedback, because I just felt like I didn't want to keep playing (I tried). On one hand, the pixel art, the voice acting was immaculate (though I wish you were more specific about which assets were AI-generated), but on the other, the controls (X for Jumping), taking 2-3 buttons to spell cast, and the unsatisfactory movement really threw me off. I died twice from the first jump--I know it's skill-based, but it seemed a bit harsh to make a player easily fall from the very first jump in the game.

In addition, it seemed that you emphasized it's not supposed to be a twitch based game, but the jumping and the presentation makes it really easily compared to metroidvanias, platformers, and general 2D games with satisfying movements (like Maplestory, Castlevania, etc.). I hope the feedback is helpful in anyway. If the focus was on elemental interaction--I wonder if you would consider ways to introduce that immediately and focus on that, and just take away the obstacle course?

Hi Chris,
Thank you so much for playing our game!

We're sorry to hear that you had trouble enjoying the experience.
We truly appreciate your feedback and take it seriously.
We're currently working on improving the control system,
including offering alternative keybindings (such as using the Spacebar to jump)
and overall movement responsiveness.

Thanks again for taking the time to play and share your thoughts.
We hope to show you an improved version in the near future!
