I bought this because it says it's compatible with android, but when I go to install the app it says it's not compatible with my device. Not very tech savvy so I don't know how get around this.

The android version was made several years ago and is included as a free extra. It is not supported or updated anymore, and therefore may not work on newer devices. You may be able to bypass the error message by adjusting your android settings (particularly those around installation of apps from unknown sources).
