I've discovered a bug/exploit. If you quit out of a level whilst you're downed, and re-enter, enemies will not spawn. This lets you just walk through the level without any trouble. It doesn't work on boss stages though since it causes the boss fight to not trigger and you to get softlocked. You can make enemies spawn again by reloading the page and continuing from there.
