I LOVED that game, the art was gorgeous and I loved the difference between each characters whether its the MCs or the LIs, they each have struggles and different ways of living with them.
I was just wondering if any ending is canon or if its just different ways meeting the LIs could go, like different paths etc etc. Like for Eric, he has 4 different endings but I was wondering if one ending in particular was canon or not.
Apart from that, the game was amazing so thanks for not romanticizing mentally troubled characters like some games do!!

As for your question… 👀 When we first started the project, the idea was to explore different possibilities for meeting the LIs after prison — multiple “what ifs,” with no single canon.
...That is, until Eric’s endings happened lolol
🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD!! 🚨
There is one particular ending — the one where John dies in Eric’s arms — that we've considered a possible “canon” route. We even wasted a lot of time with the idea of writing an epilogue where Eric sends a suicidal letter to Hanna, opening up about what happened… and how broken he feels after everything.
But alas, deadlines were brutal 😅 so that idea stayed tucked away in our files. That’s why we ended up leaving everything open, without defining anything as canon.
(Though, who knows… maybe someday we’ll come back to this particular ending👀)
