Hi, I really like this but I'm a little unclear on step one.  When/how do you roll the rest of your ability scores? You start with 12 and then 8, but I don't see any steps that deal with the rest. I've played around with this for a bit and kinda just rolled the rest down the line and assigned base values for them (10,11,13, etc.). Is that what you intended? (Using the D&D 5e lifepath)

On steps 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9, you add 2 ability points based on the events. Basically, as your character grows up, they get stronger, smarter, etc!

Well that's what confused me, those ability points only add up to 10. At the end of the Path isn't it assumed you are a level 1 adventurer? If so, it would leave you with most of your stats at two once you've spread the points out (if I'm understanding the wording of the document).  That's the clarification I was looking for. Thanks for replying, I really do like it even though I can't quite get it right!

Oh, now I see the confusion! Your beginning stats are 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 12.

Ohhhhh, I see!  That's why if you roll doubles you can start with all 10s. Awesome, thank you!
