For anyone struggling with the later levels, the same beginner strats as the puyo puyo game in Yakuza 6 work here.
Hold down and right, until the 3 rightmost columns fill up, then try and match in the third column, throwing unwanted puyos into the first and second column. You either lose very quickly, or get lucky and cause a massive cascade and win. It usually takes 3 or 4 attempts, and you can practice on the vending machine in the main office.
