I would like to see more frequent updates about the expected release date. Several months an update makes me feel the devs are not working on this project.

Used to be a patron.

They consistently missed deadlines. And then just decided to do away with deadlines. But fans will always say "oh it's better that you guys take your time and make it good then get nothing at all." So the devs have no incentive to push things out on time.

Plus consistent money just means it make sense to drag things out.

True I guess. But I am happy as long the updates come eventually and when they are about as good as the content before that. For me it feels like the game is crafted with love and consistent dead lines are hard to maintain and can lead to burnout. And with a burnout there will be no updates at all.
