Really love the artstyle, animations, shaders and all. But there are definitely many bugs some of which I'll list.
For example, everytime I move to the right in a bush it triggers an encounter. I was stuck at one of the first few bush patches for a good while before I realised and went down. Took me a few minutes to realise that if I sprinted to the right immediately after leaving battle it would actually let me progress 3-5 tiles before slapping me in a new encounter. The wild encounters of which happen super frequently.
When viewing a summary of your pokemon, if you switch pages too quickly it'll go blank.
Sometimes when you have interact with a trainer and you interact too fast it triggers a double encounter which is really messy.
If you're switching pokemon and you press summary then you just won't be able to leave the summary page and it'll overlay over the match.
Not a bug but Marshtomps is a pure water type for some reason.
I kept crashing when facing against the first trainer in the Ashy Forest. It just keeps coming with errors when I take out her pokemon. I've gone past her and fought the other trainers but she's the only one that ALWAYS crashed my game.
I think you could fix some of the issues by just implementing an input rate limiter or something like that though I am just intermediate at coding in unreal.
