A mini map sounds like an interesting idea… I definitely hope to work on this more and expand upon the game going into the future, with my next plan to add switches, logic gates, and later on capacitors.
and I agree with your last point, not a lot of people attempt to make a game like this which is why I wanted to give it a try, not only to make a fun puzzle game but also to help me better understand circuits myself.
