There's a console command resurrect 1 which that extra 1 value allows for the inventory to persist. Whether it was an oversight or just laziness, Bethesda didn't carry that across into scripting, only the console command, so there's no way to keep her inventory on resurrection.
Nessa had a lot of jank that came from her little gimmick and bending the engine in a way the game really doesn't like. The Essential workaround is the best I could do.
