I love difficult games, but the one-shoting boss is more annoying then fun, if maybe it did good damage, and the lazer things disabled your dash for a second he might feel fun, and or smaller lazer hitboxes, it feels like i'm miles away then, boom, run over.
no, i don't think the hit box is bigger, but it can feel like that at times is what i'm saying, when you are on your twelfth try on the boss, and the have two pixels overlapping with the trail and instantly die, it doesn't feel difficult, it feels annoying, and frankly poorly done, and the rest of the game feels like a perfectly crafted, where you can always do something better, or catch back up if you fall behind, the boss gives so little flexibility that it feels like it was ripped out of a different game.
(Edit: also, sometimes the trail and the boss isn't affected by invincibility)
(sry about the paragraph, I do love this game, and just want to give as much feed back as possible)
Don't worry about the paragraph, actually, thank you for the feedback, I would love to chat more with you on our Discord server, to share more feedback and suggestions.
I agree with the game feeling frustrating at times, in fact hitboxes/hurtboxes are one of the aspects that we spent less time on tuning, we are going to look into it immediately.
About the invincibility, that is a very bad bug, could you explain better when does it happen?
Thank you for everything!
as for the invincibility bug, it seems now like it might be more or less that when you dash at certain angles the invincibility won't activate for the full duration, but it flashes for a moment, and i am not good at tearing into the backbone of stuff, but if you are spawning different entities to make the trail expand that could be the reason.
well, if you deactivate invincibility when you stop touching enemy, then the game might mess up when touching two as once, and if you replace an entity with another, the invincibility might stop for a split second while it swaps out, and I can't tell exact angles, but ones that travel further through the trail, seem to have it happen more.
