You're absolutely right about the balance issue.

This alpha is missing key progression systems like:

  • Captured commanders joining your team
  • Unit leveling/upgrades
  • Pre-battle preparation options

The 2nd fight is winnable (takes 3-5 tries usually) but it's definitely too harsh without those systems.

The full version will have proper progression to make fights much more strategic and less frustrating. Really appreciate pointing this out! 🙏

I don't know how extra tries would change anything.

I have two characters and only one of them has more than one attack, and none of those attacks can do anything to stop the barrage of deadly attacks.

The only way I could see a victory is if all the enemies decided to only use their weakest attack, which would mostly rely on luck.

Glad to see that the full version will actually be beatable :D
