You can pick an apprentice if you want a specific cat to be your apprentice. If you don't want a specific cat to be your apprentice but still want one, Breezestar will pick one of the four to be your apprentice. If you don't want an apprentice at all, then you can tell Breezestar that and the four will go to different mentors.
