Hi, just bought the game via catalog as it is on sale.
I am having massive trouble receiving the ball, when the CPU is serving, as I dont get why most of the time the ball just bounces on the ground and my player not doing anything. I tried standing on the marked spot pressing A, or standing in front of the marked spot and pressing A. Most of the time I just miss the ball.

What am I doing wrong ? do i have to stand on the marked spot with my feet ? or do I have to stand next to the spot ?

Hello SpieleBambi! Are you pressing the A button when the ball is touching your character? The marked spot indicates where the ball is going to land so you'll want to stand in front of it. Then, when the ball is touching your character, press the A button to pass.

You could try a couple of matches on Easy difficulty in Quickplay mode to try and get the hang of the timing.

Thanks for your kind comment. Yes I am pressing the A button. I guess I just have to adapt to this. I will try to stand in front for the next matches and see where it goes. After all it seems to be a timing problem for me.
