I'm very glad to find that I'm not the only one struggling with this plot. And I can understand the author's perspective. The previous plots only told us how terrifying Hecate's power was, while ignoring the fact that the power of love is equally dangerous. More thought could be given to the relationship between MC and Rin without Jo.
