This mode has some bugs, some Woohoo animation (chicken, cow, pig, horse, fox, wolf, etc) are not working properly, mode developer it fixed soon in next update
You mean Emerald?? If you want to do the thing with mobs then you just have to knock them down using sword or other thing, and just with that just enjoy.
