Oh damn, I know what's causing that. Unfortunately I'm on my honeymoon right now, so I can't fix it. You can try this however:
1. Save your game in a new slot.
2. Open developer menu by pressing Shift+O
3. Type in:
areaUnlockStable = False
4. Press enter and then ESC to exit. Try opening your map now. Did that work?
