If you've checked every possible spot, both upstairs and downstairs, Nevin will suggest looking in the storehouse his father rents in Central Gallia. If you're followed his storyline, you've probably been there once already.

I recall one of the testers got stumped by this one too.  There should be a total of eleven areas to examine - four downstairs,  four in the upstairs hallway, and another three in the parents room that I forgot about until I looked at the maps just now. There's nothing in Nevin's room and you can't get into either his sister's room.

Thanks for the reply. I reloaded my earlier save and redo this whole scene again to see what I'm missing. Turned out I only found 2 spots in the parents room.

I got the 2 obvious one, the closet and the box of junk on the table. The rest of the furniture I examine didn't give any respond.

I searched:

- The bed

- The mirror

- The tall cabinet near the mirror

- The plant pot next to the table

- The paper on the table

- The small bookshelf next to the closet

I'm suspecting the cabinet and the bookshelf, but no matter how much I interacted with them, nothing happened.

I also tried to go to the rented warehouse to see if I could skip it but no dice. Nevin still said the same thing as day 8.

The tall cabinet next to the mirror is the third one you need. Make sure you're standing on the same tile as the bottom of it (you can do that because of how the tileset is laid out) and facing up when you interact with it.

I knew it. I absolutely did that a million times but nothing happened.

I suspected it might be the sequence I was doing, and turned out I was right. If I went to the mirror cabinet the first thing, it would trigger the search dialog with Nevin just fine.

Actually, once you started with the mirror cabinet, then the rest of the stuff on the 2nd floor, Nevin will ask you to go to the rented space. You don't even need to examine anything downstairs. But for some reason, if I examined some other stuff first, the cabinet will be inaccessible.

Anyway, I can continue with the story now. Thank you for the pointer.
